One of the niftiest parts when coding this tell a friend was a way so that a person would not be able to use the form to spam out messages to people. It seemed easy enough to use a unique session value to limit the number of tell-a-friends.

This was a site I created as a freelance contractor for a Mississauga based logo design company. As was common with most of the work I did, one of the first things I do was to define the styling, the look, and the mood for the site. It was important to help determine this with the client and at the same time balance out the Web design so that it evoked the right look for the product or service.

After several iterations and samples, we narrowed the style and look to what you see above. This was I believe concept 4 with revised and updated details. During the time I was working on the file, I made regular contact with the client and after a while got to know his expectations. It was very rewarding when things worked out and the client was pleased.

Once the design was approved things become a bit more mechanical and the rest of the site is put together. A slice and dice is done and the shell is used as the starting point for additional pages. Pages range in type from a content page to a form page as show above. This was a site I created as a freelance contractor for a Mississauga based logo design company.

CanadaSource.ca was an idea that surfaced a few years ago with a close associate and after a few meeting spanning many years and months, it was decided that the idea was good enough to make into a site. CanadaSource.ca is basically a site that allows locals to buy, sell, and swap amongst themselves.

Truth be told that CanadaSource.ca is not a new idea. One of the differentiating parts about this site is that all the initial members know one another through either personal or friend contact. This made for a more trust centric (ouch I actually used that word) community.
